Today, I tried to taste a can of beer called Toreate-Hop which has been sold since October 29th. It is made from the hop which is farmed and harvested in Iwate prefecture. This deed by KIRIN corporation is a part of revival for Tohoku where the big earthquake happened in March 11th.
When I opened the can, the scent of fresh pop was in wafting through the air. The sound when I poured to glass was really nice. After drinking, it was so clear and a little bit more bitter than normal Japaneses beer we often drink, I thought.
In addition, a part of profit of this beer will be given to farmers in Tohoku for revival, so it means you can enjoy the beer, and at the same time, you can help revive for Tohoku!!!
